Christimas Bags of Joy

The church seeks to support this ministry and each Christmas we prepare our special 'Bags of Joy' which are delivered to patients on the wards. These bags contain several presents and a Christmas prayer or message. Last year we managed to make up and deliver 500 bags. This year we are making a Christmas decoration to go in each bag. The Ladies Friendship Group are making the decorations.

Please help us by buying small gifts that can go in the Bags of Joy, suggestions are:

Flannels and Scrubs.

Branded toiletries i.e. shower gel, body lotion and hand cream (suitable for men and women).

Chocolates & Sweets (must be wrapped/boxed).

Diabetic Chocolates & Sweets (must be wrapped/boxed).

Socks (suitable for men or women).

Small notebooks.

Other small gift items suitable for those in hospital.

Please note we all receive plenty of gifts for women but lack items suitable to give to men. If possible please buy some items that would be suitable for either. All items including toiletries must be within date.
